After the fall of the Berlin Wall, we were finally able to purchase cameras manufactured abroad. Foto-Quelle offered a wide selection of affordable models.
It was manufactured in Hong Kong by Haking in 1993–1994. This compact camera featured a built-in flash, autofocus, and automatic film advance—all of which were novelties for us at the time.
This camera accompanied me and my family throughout the 1990s. Most of my photos from that time were taken with this camera. It still works today, and this year, after more than 20 years, I took photos with it again.
