Bandabsetzer 1115 (Conveyor Dump 1115)

The Bandabsetzer 1115 (Conveyor Dump 1115) was formerly used in lignite mining to dump overburden. It was operated at the former Espenhain open-pit mine and weighs 2,400 metric tons. The machine has a total length of approximately 204 meters and is 49 meters high. It is now part of the Mining Technology Park.
